This Privacy Policy explains how TradeQuoter collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our Service. We are committed to handling your data responsibly and in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
Account information: When you register, we collect your email address and password (stored in hashed form). You may also provide your business name, phone number, postal address, VAT number, and business logo.
Quote and customer data: We store the quotes you create, including customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, job addresses, line items, and totals. This data is necessary to provide the core features of the Service.
Usage data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, such as pages visited, features used, and actions taken. This helps us improve the product and diagnose technical issues.
Payment information: We do not store your full card details. Payments are processed by Stripe, which handles all sensitive payment data directly. We receive only a Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
We use your information to provide and operate the Service, process subscription payments, send transactional emails (such as quote delivery and follow-up reminders), respond to support requests, and improve the platform based on usage patterns.
We will not sell your personal data to third parties or use it for targeted advertising. We may send you product update emails from time to time; you can opt out of these at any time.
Your data is stored using Supabase, a managed PostgreSQL database platform. Data may be hosted in the EU or the US depending on your region. Supabase implements industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit.
The Service is hosted on Vercel, which provides DDoS protection, automatic HTTPS, and infrastructure-level security. We implement Row Level Security (RLS) policies to ensure that each user can only access their own data.
Despite our best efforts, no method of data transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.
We use essential cookies to maintain your authentication session. These cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. If you clear your cookies, you will be logged out of the Service.
We use the following third-party services to operate TradeQuoter:
Stripe — for processing subscription payments and managing billing. Stripe has its own Privacy Policy at stripe.com/privacy.
Resend — for sending transactional emails, including quote delivery emails and follow-up reminders. Email content including customer names and quote details is transmitted to Resend for delivery.
Supabase — for database storage and file hosting (logos and PDFs). Your data is stored on Supabase-managed infrastructure.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, and receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
You can export or delete your account data at any time from the Settings page. For data portability requests or other privacy enquiries, please contact us at hello@tradequoter.co.
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will permanently remove your data from our systems within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain information for legal or regulatory purposes (for example, payment records for tax compliance).
Quote PDFs stored in our file storage are deleted when you delete your account. Customer data associated with your quotes is also deleted at the same time.
TradeQuoter is intended for use by adults and business owners. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has registered for an account, please contact us and we will promptly delete the account and associated data.

You can withdraw your cookie consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or using the cookie banner that appears on your first visit.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify you by email or via an in-app notice before the changes take effect.
